The Sandos Riviera Beach Resort & Spa forms part of the Sandos Playacar Beach Resort & Spa and is located within the renowned residential area of Playacar. This resort shares its beachfront area with the Sandos Playacar Beach Resort & Spa. This hotel is located only a short distance from the town of Playa del Carmen, the pier to Cozumel, and 45 minutes from the Cancun International Airport.

Sandos Riviera is strategically located a short distance from the ecological water parks of Xcaret (with its underground river, Dolphinarium, botanical gardens and stables) and Xel-Ha, and the archaeological sites of Tulúm and Cobá.

This resort offers 396 oversized Junior and Master luxury suites. Each suite is decorated in tropical hues and has modern amenities throughout.

Families & Kids

The Sandos Riviera Beach Resort takes family very seriously. They are one of the few resorts in Mexico that offer a kids program starting at age 2. Their Kids Club runs from 10:00am to 9:00pm daily. Another great thing about this kids club is that they separate the kids into groups according to their age. That way, they can make sure your children are involved in age specific games and activities. Plus, the older kids won’t feel like they’re with a bunch of babies. The groups are broken down accordingly:

Baby Club - 2-3 years
Kids Club - 4-12 years
Teens Club - 13-17 years

Kids Club – Open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm for children ages 2-12 years old with theater, mini buffet and swimming pool, supervised activity program including games, crafts.

Teen Club - Open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm for teenagers 12-17 years old.
