Your length of stay is up to you. You can stay for night, a weekend, a week or longer.

You can choose when you would like to go. Plan a family vacation any time of year or get away with just your spouse!

You can choose from a variety of accommodations including deluxe Studios, 1 and 2 Bedroom Vacation Homes or even 3 Bedroom Grand Villas.

You don’t have to go to the same resort every time. Try some adventure travel or a fun filled Disney cruise!

The Vacation Point System

When you become a Disney Vacation Club Member, you purchase a real estate interest in the club. This gives you an annual allotment of vacation points. The larger the real estate interest you purchase, the more points you receive each year. Each hotel or resort has its own point value. It’s extremely convenient because you buy in with a small amount points and then add to it as your family (or budget) grows!

Home Resort

Your "home resort" is the resort where you have your real estate interest. There are currently seven Disney Vacation Club resorts: Old Key West, the Boardwalk Villas, Beach Club Villas and the Villas at Wilderness & Animal Kingdom Lodge all located at Walt Disney World. There is also Disney's Vero Beach Resort and Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. What used to be the Disney Institute site is now the home of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

There are many advantages to owning a real estate interest in one resort over another. One is that you’re allowed to make reservations at your home resort up to eleven months in advance of your stay. For all other, you can only make reservations seven months in advance. There are over 500 choices worldwide where you can stay.

Some other benefits you get are:

• Discounts on select dining, attractions and entertainment.
• A team of Disney Cast Members to help you plan your vacation and make reservations.
• Special access to Disney events like previews of Theme Park attractions, Disney Cruise specials and tours through Adventures by Disney.

Because you’re always a Disney World Resort Guest, you have access to free transportation, extra Magic Hours in theme parks, package delivery and guest services to make your trip more enjoyable.
