Carnival Family Cruises

Carnival family cruises, are the self proclaimed “fun ships”. They have earned very high marks for their Camp Carnival. It’s run year round by trained professionals. They have an extensive children’s area with playrooms and splash pools. They have more levels of programs with narrower age divisions. This makes for smaller more manageable groups.

All children are supervised by staff who have experience and/or education in child-care. Kids also get their very own menus, featuring all their favorites like hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pizza, macaroni & cheese, hamburgers and more.

Their Kids’ Program offers activities for ages 2 – 17 and is broken up in the following groups:

Camp Carnival

  • Toddlers, Age 2 – 5
  • Juniors, Age 6 – 8
  • Intermediates, Age 9 – 11

Circle C

  • Ages 12 - 14

Club 02

  • Ages 15 – 17, Great for Teens! They have late night movies, karaoke and a place to just hang out. There are even shore excursions just for teens.

They also provide babysitting services in the evenings from 10 p.m. - 3 a.m. every night. Now the adults can get out and have fun too!! Toddlers do not need to be potty-trained in order to be part of Camp Carnival; parents simply need to provide the youth staff with diapers and toiletries for their child. This is huge! Most cruise lines do not take children in kids clubs unless they are potty trained. Definitely deserves a gold star!
