Disney recognizes that it can be super expensive for an entire family to get away together, so they created the All Star Value Resorts. These hotels start at only $82 per night….not per person, and you can sometimes find them cheaper online! Don’t let the word “value” fool you, you get all of the same amenities you would if you booked a deluxe or luxury Disney resort, except with a much lower price tag. The Value Resorts allow families to book affordable Disney family vacations. Ok, so the rooms might be a bit smaller and you won’t have access to room service or a state of the art health club, but you do get all of the extras that the deluxe hotels offer just for staying on the Disney property. They also offer the following services: Concierge Desk – located at the Main Lobby in Cinema Hall. They provide such services as helping to purchase theme park tickets and making dinner and show reservations. Laundry Facilities/Services – There are coin-operated self service laundry facilities available throughout the Value Resorts. Or you could chose to arrange for valet dry cleaning and laundry service picked up from your room. Babysitting and Child Services -All of the Value Resorts offers several options for childcare.
Shopping – There are shops with themed merchandise and other things you may have forgotten at home. Just a tip… try looking for items you may need outside the park gates. They will be much cheaper at a gas station or Walmart! There are several tips available to help you save money. Pizza Delivery – pizza, sandwiches, salads, desserts and beverages are available in the evening for delivery right to your guest room. Guest with Disabilities – rooms are available to guests with disabilities including wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and rooms designed for the hearing impaired. The Value Resorts don’t have their own kids club, but you can bring your kids to a childcare center at another Disney hotel. Visit the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and drop the kids off at the Mouseketeer Club, or bring them to the Neverland Club at the Polynesian Resort. There are several other Disney hotels that also offer childcare. Children must be potty-trained and between the ages of 4 to 12. Most of the centers are open from 4 p.m. to midnight. While the kids are busy playing games, watching movies or doing arts and crafts, you can get out and have some much needed adult fun!
Rates are per child, per hour, and a two-hour minimum stay is required. Don’t forget that you have access to the All-Star bus to get to (or get close to) most other Disney hotels around Disneyworld.
