I have always been interested, well… maybe obsessed with travel. I have been to quite a few places in my life, but I’m hoping to get to many, many more. I am married to a wonderful man and we have a daughter named Taylor who is three and a son named Jack who is 18 months old.
We usually travel to the Outerbanks of NC on vacation and rent a beach house with extended family. When we decided to take a trip out of the country with our son, I started doing a bunch of research online. In my search for a resort for my own family vacation, I became frustrated with the lack of information on family vacations.
While I was able to find information on different resorts and vacation packages on the web, I found it very difficult to find the level of information that I was searching for. It also took many hours of searching different sites and asking endless questions in tons of forums. I wished there was somewhere I could go to get all of the information I needed in one place.
Then I got to thinking… “I bet other parents are searching for the same information!” That is how this website was born. I have done extensive research so that you don’t have to. You now have a place where you can find all of the details you want in one spot.
We all know that the travel industry is always changing and new deals are coming out constantly. So, I decided to sign up with a travel agency just so I would have first access to this information (I told you I’m obsessed!). You will find many links throughout this website to places I believe offer the best deals and information. I hope you find everything that you are looking for and have fun looking around in the process. Please share your suggestions, great experiences and/or nightmare vacations with us. I plan to post all stories that I receive (in good taste). This is information that we all need if we are going to find the best vacation for our family!
